Our Story
Established in 2008, the Arizona Lacrosse Officials Association (ALOA) is a professionally run and fully insured non-profit corporation. The ALOA is the only US Lacrosse recognized organization in Arizona with the qualifications and resources to properly train, observe, mentor and certify prospective, returning and veteran lacrosse officials in Arizona.
The ALOA ‘s membership is made up of over forty Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 certified lacrosse officials with the majority holding the higher Level 2 and Level 3 certifications. Prior to each season new and returning officials go through a thorough training, observation, testing and certification process before they are assigned games. This annual US Lacrosse certification process allows for each official to provide a safe and enjoyable playing experience for all participants.
